Room 13 is a very special room dominated by the huge Royal four-poster bed from Hampton Court Palace. It is so high that steps are provided to get into bed. The room is situated on the first floor and has its own small balcony overlooking the gardens. This comfortable room is so peaceful and quiet; it’s hard to imagine you’re in the middle of a bustling city. Room 16 is the Portobello Hotel’s most famous room. Its special feature is the circular bed situated in the middle of the room. Above it hangs a Moroccan lantern and muslin curtains creating an atmosphere of Eastern mystery and romance. The room also has an original Victorian Bathing Machine close to the bed. This beautiful antique bath has copper pipes, sprays and showers.
